Nieuwe EP Weezer 'SZNZ: Summer'

En daar is de volgende EP van Weezer alweer!

Afgelopen lente brachten de heren hun eerste van 4 EP's uit getiteld 'SZNZ: Spring'.

Vandaag, 21 juni, is het tijd voor de volgende! 'SZNZ: Summer'

Ook op deze EP staan 7 gloednieuwe tracks van de groep uit Californië. En na enkele minuten hoor je direct dat het geen folk / kampvuur plaat is, zoals 'Spring' dat was, maar eerder een rockplaat is geworden.

Rivers liet al in maart weten dat elke EP een eigen 'feeling' zou hebben. Hoe 'Fall' & 'Winter' zullen klinken, is nog maar afwachten, maar wij gokken alvast dat het iets rustiger zal zijn.

"The two angels descend from heaven down to Earth because they're tired of being so prim and proper up in heaven. They find themselves in a magical forest pre-Christian Ireland, in the midst of a circle of Elves, Fairies, and other magical creatures. There they learn of the power of love and self-acceptance, They learn of music, drum circles, flutes, and distorted guitars. They learn to dance.

But all seasons turn and eventually Adam and Eve grow Restless. As summer nears, they leave the forest for their next adventure in the far-off land of Rome, a place of much unrest, where the youth will soon rise up in protest. Yes, there are three seasons more, Each of which will offer its own palette of colors, creators and emotions to explore.

Vanavond spelen de heren in het Sportpaleis voor de Hella Mega tour, samen met Green Day en Fall Out Boy. Tickets zijn nog steeds te koop en kan je hier vinden.
