21 oktober album nummer 7 voor Arctic Monkeys: 'The Car'

4 jaar hebben we erop moeten wachten, maar nu is er eindelijk witte rook vanuit het Arctic Monkeys-kamp!

De 7e plaat van onze favoriete band uit Sheffield, 'The Car', komt uit op 21 oktober via Domino Records!

Er zullen 10 tracks op de plaat staan, waarvan ze gisteren op het Zurich Openair festival een eerste nieuwe track live hebben gebracht.

Het gaat om het nummer 'I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am'.

Eerder vertelde drummer Matt Helders al dat hun 7e album een vervolg is op hun vorige plaat 'Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino'

Frontman Alex Turner liet weten over de plaat: 

“On this record [‘The Car’], sci-fi is off the table. We are back to earth.I think we’ve got closer to a better version of a more dynamic overall sound with this record. The strings on this record come in and out of focus and that was a deliberate move and hopefully everything has its own space. There’s time the band comes to the front and then the strings come to the front.”
